The world’s best kinesiology tape is now made from sustainable hemp.
Campbell, Calif. – March 29, 2018 – RockTape, Inc., the leader in sports medicine products and education, now offers its premium kinesiology tape in dye-free hemp.
The breathable, water-resistant material is a powerful differentiator between RockTape and other kinesiology tape brands. Standard RockTape is made of 97% cotton and 3% nylon – a blend preferred by athletes and medical professionals throughout the world. After expanding the RockTape line to serve a variety of skin types (gentle, for sensitive skin types, and extra tough, for oily skin types and highly active bodies), hemp tape was a natural next step in serving the needs of those with aversions to cotton or dyes, and those seeking a more sustainable kinesiology tape. Hemp tape is made of 97% hemp and 3% nylon.
“We wanted to offer a dye-free option with the same caliber of quality as our standard cotton RockTape,” says Cullen Maroney, Product Manager at RockTape. “Hemp makes a strong, textile, and uses less land and water to grow than cotton, so it made for the most practical, sustainable alternative.”
Hemp Tape is now available in standard length (2” wide and 16.4’ long) online at RockTape.com, at REI, and soon on Amazon at an MSRP of $22.
